Higuain and River have been vocal in their admiration for one another throughout the coronavirus lockdown, but the Argentine side could be facing competition from Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As per Tuttojuve, Juve are prepared to sell the striker this summer but for no less than €18m to ensure they do not make a loss from his sale on their balance sheet.

The Bianconeri paid €90m to take him from Napoli in 2016, and he has repaid them with 63 goals in 139 appearances, eight of which have come in the current campaign.

On the other hand, he can leave the Old Lady for nothing when his contract expires in June 2021.
