Wales have recalled Aaron Ramsey as CT Ryan Giggs hopes to see the Juventus midfielder in action against Lokomotiv Moscow and Milan.
Ramsey missed the last international break with a thigh injury but has appeared as a substitute in Juve’s last two matches against Genoa and Torino.
The 28-year-old has since proved his fitness to Giggs, who feels his countryman has “looked sharp and full of running”.
“There’s two games to go for Juve before we meet up, so hopefully he gets more minutes and starts the games,” he told Omnisport.
“That’ll give Aaron that confidence because we’ve missed that quality he brings, that experience he brings, that ability to create a goal or score a goal from nothing.
“He hasn’t played regularly for the last few months and he’s been out for a long time with injury.
“We’ll just assess him when he meets up for camp, whether he can play both games or comes on as an impact player.
“These are all the options you have to look at.”
He added at a Press conference: “He’s come on in the last two games for Juventus and has looked sharp and full of running.
“He went through a stage where he started three games on the bounce before the last camp and then unfortunately got a little injury.
“I wouldn’t say he is 100 percent match fit but he looks good, he looks sharp, so we will see what he looks like when he joins up with us later this week and then just monitor it from there.”
Wales, who are fourth in their Euro 2020 qualifying group, face Azerbaijan and Hungary next.
