According to Il Tempo, the Corriere dello Sport, Tuttosport and more, Juventus have set their sights on Zaniolo and could use Higuain as part of their offer.
Higuain has just returned from two dismal loan spells at Milan and Chelsea, but despite Maurizio Sarri taking over at Juve, he is still not part of their plans.
Another loan would cost €12m with an option to buy, not to mention his salary, but Roma have no intention of spending that much.
The alternative could be to extend Higuain’s contract with Juve so they could spread his wages over a longer period of time and then send him to Roma on loan with obligation to buy.
Pipita would replace Edin Dzeko, who is heading towards Inter this summer.
Naturally, Juventus hope to use Higuain as part of their bid for teenage sensation Zaniolo, who is valued at around €60m.
