The 36-year-old’s future at the Allianz Stadium could determine the future business of the Old Lady.

The elimination from the Champions League against FC Porto started the discussions of the veteran’s farewell, but his deal with Juventus expires in June 2022.

He would inevitably attract the attention of the biggest clubs in Europe, but La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights his yearly salary could provide an obstacle even for the European giants.

Tuttosport, however, has looked at the possibilities on the transfer market should he stay at the Allianz Stadium.

The newspaper claims there’s a 75 per cent possibility for him to remain at Juventus and in this case, the club would reportedly try to complete the squad with another striker between Arkadiusz Milik or Memphis Depay.

In midfield, on the other hand, Jorginho or Manuel Locatelli have been linked with Juventus, in order to try and make Andrea Pirlo’s squad complete.

However, should Ronaldo leave the club, the newspaper claims everything would change at Continassa and the club would decidedly target bigger names.

According to the newspaper, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi would be the main targets.

The list of potential signings includes names like Everton loanee Moise Kean, who has impressed at PSG this term, and Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, who’s deal is expiring this summer.

Tuttosport claims a possible return to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo could therefore be taken into consideration, as Pogba could play a big role in a sensational exchange deal with the Red Devils.
