Alessandro Matri explained why he opted not to celebrate at Cagliari, while Luca Toni noted: “I'm not finished yet!”
Juventus ended their crisis with a much-needed 3-1 victory at the Sant'Elia this evening, a stadium that up until last week was Matri's home.
“I decided not to celebrate because it seemed to me the right thing to do,” said Matri after bagging a brace.
They were his first goals in a Juve jersey and Toni also broke his Bianconeri duck in Sardinia.

“This goal means many things to me,” he said of his 100th in Serie A.
“Many continue to claim I am finished and journalists enjoy laughing at me, but I am still here. I'm fired up, even if not 100 per cent fit, but I am hungry to play and score for a side like Juventus.
“We have a strong squad and this is the right match for us to begin again.”
