Juventus interest in Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel is intensifying after Milan gave up on the Belgian.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri have approached his intermediaries and are discussing personal terms.
The 26-year-old’s contract is due to expire in June 2017 and he has no intention of renewing.
Zenit will not release the player for less than €25m.

It’s rumoured Juventus are trying to take the player on loan with mandatory option to buy, therefore spreading the cost out over two years.
Witsel has been at Zenit St Petersburg since September 2012, when they paid €40m to Benfica.
Milan were in negotiations for Witsel earlier this summer, but have moved on to other targets, most notably Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano.
