Juventus defender Frederik Hillesborg Sorensen has officially been sold to Bundesliga's FC Koln.

The 23-year-old was signed by Juventus in 2010 before being turned to Bologna and Hellas Verona for the last three seasons.

Now the Bianconeri have made the transfer official via a statement on their site.

“Juventus have officially sold Frederik Hillesborg Sorensen to 1. FC Koln, playing in the 1. Fussball-Bundesliga,” reads the statement, which goes on to relate Sorensen's career with the Old Lady.

The statement doesn't detail the financial side of the operation, but Juventus is expected to earn approximately €2.5m, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
