Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has already drawn up a list of possible reinforcements in attack, such as Diego Forlan, Maxi Lopez, Alberto Gilardino and Alessandro Matri.

However, Gigi Del Neri believes Amauri only needs a run in the side without injury to find the consistency that has been missing from his game since the first six months of his career in Turin.

Amauri will get his chance to impress in the Europa League against Salzburg tomorrow evening.

La Gazzetta dello Sport is sceptical about his future, though, underlining the fact Amauri has only once scored 15 goals in a single season in Serie A.

Nevertheless, Del Neri admires the other parts of his game, notably his sense of sacrifice and ability to hold up the ball.
