Jorge Mendes proposed Angel Di Maria to many top European clubs including Juventus, who are now interested in taking the next step towards a possible deal.
The 34-year-old Argentinian winger’s contract expires with French giants Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season and it will not be renewed, forcing him to find a new home. His agent Mendes has been on a European tour, advertising his client to a number of top clubs, with Juventus being only one of many.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus have been considering Di Maria since the initial proposal and are now keen on taking things to the next level. They’re set to meet with Mendes before the end of this season, interested to see if his requests would fit in their parameters.
The 34-year-old Di Maria has been a key part of the PSG squad over the last seven years, consistently proving himself at the top level. In 292 appearances for the French giants, he has scored 91 goals and provided 117 assists.
