Meetings have already taken place with Villarreal and Rossi's agent, Federico Pastorello, this week.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juve directors will hold another summit with Pastorello in the next few days.
It's believed Rossi would be available for around €30m, which is well within the Juventus transfer budget.
