Paul Pogba is edging closer and closer to a return to Turin and Juventus are optimistic that they can close things out before the end of the month.
The 29-year-old Frenchman is leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, ending a rather divisive six-year spell in the North West of England. Many fans feel that he failed to live up to his €110m price tag, but performances for the French national team prove that he can still conjure magic in the right system.
As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus have not yet reached a total agreement with Pogba regarding a deal but both parties are feeling optimistic as the Serie A season draws to a close. Next week could be decisive as the Bianconeri look to close out a deal soon.
Juventus are reportedly willing to give Pogba a three-year contract worth around €10m net per season in total, making him one of the best paid players in the squad.
Pogba could sign for Juve as early as this week on a 3 year contract €7.5M + bonuses. With the number 10 jersey now vacant, the temptation to give it back to Pogba is very strong.
