Although a move never transpired, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague – writing for BBC Sport – claims the Bianconeri were willing to exchange Dybala plus cash to land the Brazilian.

The Argentina forward was heavily linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, but transfers to both clubs broke down over personal terms.

Nonetheless, Balague writes the Ligue 1 champions knocked back Juve’s proposal.

The 27-year-old will stay in the French capital until at least January after deals with Barcelona and Real Madrid also failed to materialise.
