The website speculates that the Bianconeri offered Can to the Catalans whilst the two clubs were finalising a swap deal involving Matheus Pereira and Alejandro Marques.
However Barcelona rejected the proposal out of hand.
Can has been linked with a move back to the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.
