Reports say Juventus and Napoli have begun a bidding war for Empoli midfielder Riccardo Saponara.
The Partenopei have already brought in Coach Maurizio Sarri and midfielder Mirko Valdifiori from the Tuscan club this summer and Sarri is believed to have demanded the 23-year-old.

Empoli director Marcello Carli yesterday confirmed the interest of the two clubs in Saponara, but had warned that “€15m is not enough.”
Gazzetta believes that the Vesuviani’s bid has been put on stand-by, while Juventus are willing to pay €12m and let the player remain at Empoli for another season on loan.
