Here are the takeaways from Max Allegri’s press conference after Juventus‘ 2-0 loss against Milan at San Siro.

The Tuscan tactician met the media after the match at the Stadio Meazza, in a press conference attended by Football Italia.

“The team did well for 20 minutes, then we started passing the ball backwards for no reason,” he said.

“The two goals were avoidable. We had important situations in numerical advantage but made the wrong choices and in the end, we paid a high price.

“We must react, we have an important game on Tuesday and we have time to turn things around in Serie A. We’ve never won away and we must fix this.

“I think we played a bad game technically, especially in the second half. We collapsed psychologically, making too many mistakes,” the coach continued.

“There isn’t much to say, we can only react, we have another important Champions League game on Tuesday then the Turin derby. We made the same mistakes, conceding twice, of course, we must react.

“I believe that after25 minutes we started passing the ball back when there was no need, so we need to improve. We must end this situation in some way, good or bad. We must react, we win more challenges, recover energies and try to win in Israel.”

The Bianconeri have now lost two games out of nine in Serie A and are seven points behind table leaders Napoli and Atalanta who play tomorrow, so they climb to +10 after just nine games.

On Tuesday, the Bianconeri face Maccabi Haifa away in the Champions League. It’s a must-win game for the Serie A giants who have earned just three points in three games so far and are four points behind the leading pair Benfica and PSG.

The Bianconeri have scored 12 goals in Serie A this season, conceding seven. Next week they visit Torino in the Derby Della Mole.

Juventus have never won away this season, collecting two draws against Sampdoria and Fiorentina and losing to PSG, Monza and Milan.

  1. You’re here only because your employee can’t afford to fire you immidiately. How are you not ashamed?

  2. And why are bonucci and mcckenie here? To catch flies? They are real shame on the field. Locatelli is out of position but should also be ashamed.

  3. And than we have has been players in sandro, cuadrado. Even Danilo looks lost on right back. We need clear picture, to see if there is even possibility to build around chiesa and pogba, and maybe di maria if he extends, but please dont put everything on allegri, this team is so limited that ones who built it are far more responsible.

  4. Locatelli and kennie must go. They are average players.
Sandro is too old. This is not a team to win. 4 place is achievement for them.

  5. The fault lays on Agnelli. We didn’t buy the right players, though were cheap, except Breimer.

  6. The fault lays on Agnelli. We didn’t buy the right players, though were cheap, except Breimer.

  7. Fagioli is miles better than that American boy. It is easy to understand why Allegri did not play him.

  8. Forget it the 7/9 cannot react. When you have Roberto King Carlos Sandro and bricklayer Cafu Danilo you start 2-0 down with their legendary performances. The 7/9 have made their bed and dug the hole 10 miles deeper thinking that was the best method to get out. Under PhD Yoga back back, hope is not far away.
