The Old Lady have struggled for cover in the position this season when first team regular Alex Sandro has been out injured, so the Turin-based newspaper suggests sporting director Fabio Paratici is looking at Chelsea left-back Emerson as a solution.

The 25-year-old, who is a naturalised Italian of Brazil origin, has been out of favour under Frank Lampard this season, and the Turin daily reports that Juve are keeping tabs on his situation.

He’s only made 12 appearances in all competitions for The Blues this season, and has two and half years left on his contract with the London club.

Juve could very well make a move for the former Roma player in the summer.

Palmieri played for the Giallorossi for two seasons before signing for Chelsea in January 2018.

He made his debut for Italy in September 2018, against Portugal.
