Juve loanee Ramsey dealt injury blow in Rangers’ Old Firm victory

Aaron Ramsey has again suffered an injury, forcing him to the sidelines only 43 minutes into Rangers’ Scottish Cup semi-finals against Celtic.

The 31-year-old Welsh midfielder had a positive start to life in Scotland, scoring two goals in his first five league appearances, but now he’s again left to deal with muscular issues, limiting him from receiving consistent minutes.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Ramsey suffered a muscle injury in the first half of the cup semi-final against Celtic and it’s currently unclear how long he’ll remain on the sidelines. He was ushered straight down the tunnel by the medical staff after he was brought off and appeared pained.

The Welshman has already missed 14 games for Juventus this season due to muscle problems, something that also plagued his 2020-21 season. It’s another source of frustration for the former Arsenal man, who has been hoping to show his best whilst on loan this season.
