Aaron Ramsey has again suffered an injury, forcing him to the sidelines only 43 minutes into Rangers’ Scottish Cup semi-finals against Celtic.

The 31-year-old Welsh midfielder had a positive start to life in Scotland, scoring two goals in his first five league appearances, but now he’s again left to deal with muscular issues, limiting him from receiving consistent minutes.

As detailed by Calciomercato.com, Ramsey suffered a muscle injury in the first half of the cup semi-final against Celtic and it’s currently unclear how long he’ll remain on the sidelines. He was ushered straight down the tunnel by the medical staff after he was brought off and appeared pained.

The Welshman has already missed 14 games for Juventus this season due to muscle problems, something that also plagued his 2020-21 season. It’s another source of frustration for the former Arsenal man, who has been hoping to show his best whilst on loan this season.

  1. Let’s see how he can blame Juve for this one.

The Juve medical/fitness staff clearly has some issues, but Ramsey is not one of them.

  2. Guess Rangers medical staff is just as incompetent as Juves… Or maybe it was just a bad excuse.

  3. An absolute leech of a player. Another Paratici nightmare. Let’s sell him to Tottenham for 100m

  4. @I Miss – terrible business. Juve did right to ship him off but I suspect that he’ll boomerang back until his contract is completely up. No chance he’ll remain at Rangers. Still, 43 mins in a row is more than he’s mustered for Juve this season. Wales is a different story. He might just be the only player to retire from local football and just focus on internationals.

  5. Flimsay could be teaching young Zaniolo how to vacation for 350 days out of the year. All is well with Juventus and the future is looking bright. The Brazilian heir to Cafu who was not able to be in the Real or City first team is renewed. The same will go for Morata and Zinedine Rabiot. If I were Vlahovic I would check that receipt now, do a Piatek and rebuild his career elsewhere. PhD Max will sort everything out and Ramsay is going to propel the 7/9 CL beaten finalists back to 4th spot in 2023.
