Today, Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the Old Lady’s lawyers – Chiappero and Turco – have arrived at the prosecutor’s office in Perugia to meet the prosecutors investigating the Italian exam carried out by Suarez at the University for Foreigners in Perugia.
Amid wiretaps and leaked quotes in Italian media, Turco released a statement after the Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation, claiming there had been ‘no negotiation nor an agreement’ between the club and the University.
The newspaper reports Chiappero witnessed the conversations between Turco and the University’s general manager, who is under investigation.
