Real Madrid have dropped reported Juventus target Isco for Wednesday’s Clasico against Barcelona.

Isco’s relationship with Madrid boss Santiago Solari had already been strained, and he will not take part at the Santiago Bernabeu this evening, despite not carrying an injury.

It comes after the midfielder aimed a thinly-veiled jab at Solari earlier in the month, calling him out for a lack of first-team opportunities.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio also reported in January that Juve would go all out for the 26-year-old in the summer.

Los Blanocs drew 1-1 with Barca in the first leg, with Isco remaining a substitute on that occasion.
