There are reports Juventus will today make a last-ditch attempt to stop Edin Dzeko's move to Manchester City.

City have now stepped up their bid for Dzeko, so according to Tuttosport newspaper, Juve director general Beppe Marotta is flying out to Germany today in a last-ditch attempt to stop the move.

The Turin-based newspaper claims Dzeko would prefer to join Juventus and considers them a more prestigious club.
City are able to offer €30m in cash, whereas Juve would cover the fee with the inclusion of Momo Sissoko and Amauri.
If the Bianconeri were to secure a deal, Dzeko would only be able to move in June due to the limit on non-EU players, so would remain at Wolfsburg for the next six months.
