Juventus reportedly held talks with Barcelona for Andre Gomes on Thursday, but the two clubs are said to be in disagreement over a deal.
According to Tuttosport, Juve and Barca “crossed paths” in Monaco before the Champions League draw – which saw both sides drawn together in the group stage.
But while the Catalans would be keen to ship out Gomes permanently or on loan with a compulsory purchase option, the Bianconeri prefer a loan with an option to buy.

Barca reportedly beat Juve to the midfielder last summer, agreeing to pay Valencia €35m plus €20m in bonuses.
However, the Portuguese was widely regarded to have performed below expectations in 2016-17, even playing at right-back towards the end of the campaign.
Nonetheless, Tuttosport describes Gomes as “a project” for the Old Lady, whose desire to sign him is “extremely clear”.
