Paul Pogba’s agent Rafaela Pimenta will meet Juventus today to discuss a possible return to Turin for the Frenchman.

The 29-year-old French midfielder will be leaving Manchester United on a free transfer next month after six-years in the North West of England. Pogba had a fairly tough time of things in the Premier League and regularly divided fans as he only showed flashes of his true quality. His performances for the French national team are proof that he is still a top player, despite his club struggles.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba’s agent Pimenta, the heir to the Mino Raiola empire, will have a lunchtime meeting with Juventus today to discuss a three-year deal. The main obstacle is the Frenchman’s wages, but the Old Lady are feeling confident they can secure the move.

On paper Pogba seems like exactly the kind of midfielder needed for Massimiliano Allegri’s side; a technical player who can regularly contribute to goals and who has the mindset of an experienced winner.

  1. I hope they buy him as soon as possible so that They can’t swap Fagioli with Milinković-Savić . We need Fagioli. Who needs Milinković-Savić ?!

  2. Fagioli has to be one of the most overrated players. He’s completely unproven in serie a. I think pogba might work as a pirlo type player.

  3. @Buanconero

How could he be proven in Serie A given he’s a youngster? lol

What do you expect him to do?

  4. If Serie A sides keep signing the leftovers from other league, while paying them enormous wages with the little money they’ve got, then they’ll never get anywhere in Europe.

This clown has hardly tried a leg for 5 years.

  5. @Ferban
    Couldn’t agree more
Fagioli hasn’t even been given the chance to play in Serie A yet and has managed to make Cremonese Serie B winners with outsandting performance, how would anyone conclude that he can’t play well in Serie A ? lol

Rabiot , Bernardeschi , Arthur have had several seasons of Serie A performance and yet they failed to Deliver and not even one of these allegri fans critcisizes them, yet they talk BS about youngsters who have are shining, Seriously ?!

  6. Brian and Ferban, totally agree. The only thing Agnelli cares about is filling seats, that’s why he brought that loser Arrivabene here. He went out got CR7 to raise the market value of Juventus, and how did that work out? He raised the value, and lost the core value of the Juventus model.

Now he goes after another 29 yr old midfielder because he’s a popular player.

Arthur, Rabiot, De Sciglio, Bonucci, Allegri?? come on!

    One horrible decision after another.

  7. @I miss Inter in Serie C where it belongs
    He won World Cup FYI
and Any major trophy Allegri won was for the likes of Pogba and Pirlo
