Juventus director Fabio Paratici will be in London today for talks over Joao Cancelo to Manchester City and Paulo Dybala’s swap with Romelu Lukaku.

The Bianconeri chief negotiator is reported to be flying out for a series of meetings, as the Premier League transfer deadline is on Thursday August 9.

There are a couple of moves in the works, as Cancelo is due to join Manchester United in exchange for Danilo and €35m in cash.

According to Tuttosport, Danilo is facilitating the move by agreeing to lower his salary.

That deal seems to be close to completion, but Dybala is continuing to hold up the swap with Manchester United striker Lukaku.

The two clubs and Belgium international are in agreement, but Dybala still has doubts and is resisting the transfer to Old Trafford.

Inter remain on the sidelines waiting to pounce for Lukaku, who has been their target for months.

It was reported on Saturday that Napoli had also tried to intervene, offering cash plus Arkadiusz Milik, but that does not seem to be progressing and other sources doubt it was ever a genuine proposal.

Calciomercato.it and Sportitalia are again warning that the image rights issue surrounding Dybala and a court case from his former agents could still scupper the move.

He and his club could end up owing €40m if the court case finds the player breached his contract.

Meanwhile, there are also now reports from France that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino personally called Dybala to convince him that Spurs was the right option.
