According to L’Equipe, there is a clause in Arkadiusz Milik’s contract allowing him to leave Marseille for €12m and Juventus are ready to swoop.

The striker was down to the final six months of his deal with Napoli, having been left in the stands all season, when he brokered a deal with Olympique Marseille in January.

Napoli extended his contract until June 2022 and signed off on a loan to Marseille for 18 months, with €8m obligation to buy plus bonuses.

However, a report from French paper L’Equipe now claims this was only ever a stopgap measure and Milik will eventually get the move to Juventus he has been pushing for since 2019.

That is because there is a clause in his contract meaning Marseille must sell if they receive an offer worth €12m.

Juve would be more than happy to buy at that price, especially if Paulo Dybala leaves this summer.
