The Bianconeri's most valuable star is the object of an intensely competitive race between Manchester United and Real Madrid.

While the Frenchman's departure is far from certain at the moment, the club from Turin is being linked to a long list of midfielders in the aftermath of his potential sale.

Tuttosport believes that Inter's Marcelo Brozovic, Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko, Chelsea's Nemanja Matic and Lazio's Lucas Biglia are all potential targets.

They also link the Old Lady to Candreva, who was apparently discussed with Lazio during a meeting which was primarily about Federico Marchetti.

There is also Zenit St Petersburg's Axel Witsel, who's been having an unending flirt with Serie A clubs ever since he was linked to Milan more than a year ago. Both Tuttosport and the Gazzetta dello Sport discuss the player in relation to a move to Turin, especially as suitors Inter are blocked by their Financial Fair Play limits.

The Corriere dello Sport adds that Real Madrid's Kovacic, who was a target before the club signed Roma's Miralem Pjanic, could still join the Bianconeri.
