Cuadrado 5.5 – Doesn’t push forward, Pedri gives him troubles in the second half.
Demiral 4 – Starts off the game giving away the ball to Leo Messi inside the box. Gets two yellow cards for harsh fouls on the Argentinean and his ex teammate Pjanic.
Bonucci 5.5 – Tries to set up attacking actions from the back, not perfect defensively.
Danilo 6.5 – Not easy to dribble him in the second half solid.
Kulusevski 4 – Not his night. Runs a lot but seems to have lost his quality for 90 minutes. (McKennie 74 ng)
Bentancur 5 – His passes are too inaccurate. (Arthur 83 ng)
Rabiot 5.5 – Solid game on a physical point of view but lacks of creativity (Bernardeschi 83 ng)
Chiesa 5 – Deflects Dembele’s shot that turns into a goal. Too many lows, not many highs.
Dybala 4.5 – Not 100% fit and, never creates troubles.
Morata 6 – Has three goals disallowed by VAR for off-side. Fights until the end. Unlucky.
Coach: Pirlo 5 – Decent Juventus for 45 minutes but it can’t be enough against a team that is definitely not at its best. First defeat of his era.
Barcelona:
Neto 6 – Hugs all his ex-teammates before the kick-off. He may do it at the end as well as he didn’t have so much work to do.
Sergi Roberto 6.5 – Controls Chiesa with experience.
Araujo 5.5 -Doesn’t look too comfortable, subbed off after the first half because of an injury. (Busquets 45 6.5 – Barcelona find balance again with him onto the pitch.)
Lenglet 6.5 – Positive performance by the Franchman.
Jordi Alba 6.5 – Barcelona never struggle on that side.
Pjanic 6.5 – Returns to Turin and ironically he shows the quality Juventus are lacking of in the middle of the pitch.
De Jong 7 – Complete player, plays centre-back in the second half and you wouldn’t notice it's not his role.
Pedri 7 – Impossible to catch when he has space in front of him (Braithwaite 92 ng)
Messi 7 – He doesn’t run. He walks. But he always does the right thing, with incredible quality. Scores from the spot to close the game.
Dembelé 7 – Puts Barcelona ahead, unstoppable for the entire first half (Ansu Fati 66 6 – Doesn’t shine as one would expect.)
Griezmann 6.5 – Hits the woodwork twice. Overall, a good game but needs to find the goal asap. (Firpo 88 ng)
