Juve back in for Gomes?

Juventus have reportedly resurrected their interest in Barcelona and Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes.

According to Tuttosport, Gomes could be an alternative to Blaise Matuidi and Steven N’Zonzi.

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be demanding €30m for Matuidi, despite the Frenchman being 30 years of age, while Sevilla remain adamant that N’Zonzi will only be sold for his €40m release clause.

Juve were in the running to sign Gomes from Valencia last summer, but the 24-year-old eventually joined Barca for a fee rising to €55m.

However, he failed to live up to expectations at Camp Nou last season and even played at right-back on occasions.

Tuttosport believes a fee of around €30m could be enough to take Gomes to Turin.
