Roma boss Claudio Ranieri believes Juventus represent a big obstacle for his side to overcome this weekend.

Just a point separates the two sides, Juventus being fifth and Roma sixth in Serie A.

"Juventus are a big obstacle, but beating them wouldn't be the consecration of this Roma team," Ranieri said.

"The Bianconeri are a big team, they have a strong club, a good Coach who I respect a lot and great champions who can make the difference in any moment, but we will do everything to overcome them.

"Juve are in front of us. We must overtake them. I know that we must overtake a strong team and I want to win this challenge, but you can call it Juventus or something else, it's the same thing. Winning is winning."

When asked if he had any idea of what reception lies in wait for Alberto Aquilani, he dodged the question and said: "I wanted him when I was at Chelsea and he was 16.

"Alberto is a splendid player, an exceptional champion. I wish him well and hope the injuries are over."
