The President spoke to Adnkronos about the €40m price-tag for his Argentine forward, whose representative is reportedly in a meeting with Juve directors this afternoon.

“We are waiting for his agent to speak to two or three interested clubs, then he’ll give me an indication and we’ll see what to do next,” said Zamparini.

“Juventus and Milan are in line with my requests, while Inter are a bit behind.”

Dybala was benched for Palermo’s game at the weekend thanks to a suggestion from the club President.

“I wanted to preserve him so he wouldn’t get injured, because he’s like an uninsured treasure, but he will certainly get the chance to salute the fans.

“He will play the last games at home and do so as captain. Palermo confirms itself once again a launch pad for young champions.”

Stars including Luca Toni, Edinson Cavani and Javier Pastore have all gone through the Rosanero.
