Juve agree Barzagli deal

Andrea Barzagli will reportedly sign a new two-year contract with Juventus next week.

The centre-back’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, but it appears that the Old Lady have tied him down for another two seasons.

Tuttosport reports today that Juve directors have agreed the final details of an extension until 2018, which should be announced after Easter weekend.

The 34-year-old has scored one goal in 24 appearances this season for the Turin giants and first joined the club in January 2011.
