Juventus will look to wrap up a deal for Arturo Vidal of Bayer Leverkusen now that his Copa America campaign is over.

Chile have been knocked out of the competition after being beaten 2-1 by Venezuela in the last eight.

Juve have held talks with the midfielder's agent and now just need to agree terms with Leverkusen.

Although they face some competition form Bayern Munich for the player, it's understood that Bayer would rather sell him to a foreign club.

The Bundesliga outfit value the 24-year-old at around €15m, but the Old Lady are hoping to net him for closer to €10m.

Juventus are in a strong position to negotiate as the South American has less than a year left on his contract.

Should he stay at Bayer and not sign a new deal then he could leave in June 2012 on a free transfer.

Juve will apparently hand Vidal a four-year agreement.

Vidal would become only the second Chilean to play for Juventus given that he'd follow in the footsteps of Marcelo Salas.
