According to Marca and Sky Sport Italia, talks are progressing well between Juve and Khedira’s entourage.

More meetings are set for Tuesday and Wednesday to continue whittling down the details of personal terms.

It is claimed that Juve are eager to seal the deal quickly, scuppering interest from Schalke 04 and Premier League sides such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport insists the Bianconeri want the matter done and dusted before the Champions League Final against Barcelona on June 6.

That game will be played in Berlin and there’s a good chance Khedira will be in the stands.

The German international won the World Cup last summer, but announced several months ago that he would be leaving the Bernabeu in search of “new challenges.”

His contract is due to expire next month, so the 28-year-old defensive midfielder will be a free agent.
