Ivan Juric said Hellas Verona ‘must be perfect’ against Juventus on Saturday and said new signing Kevin Lasagna makes him ‘happy’.
The Gialloblu prepare for a home game against the reigning champions this weekend and Juric said he knows what to expect from Andrea Pirlo’s men.
“When you face a team like Juve, it’s clear you must be perfect and they can’t be at their best,” Juric said at a press conference.
“And you have to change a bit. We will play our game, then we’ll see.”

Verona arrive from a 2-2 draw with Genoa last time, when the Rossoblu claimed a point four minutes into stoppages.
“I was not angry but sorry,” Juric said about the draw.
Verona impressed in 2019-20 and are currently ninth in the table, but Juric felt the progress was halted by the many changes at the Bentegodi over last summer.
“At this point of the season, we were a team with a defined identity,” he said about last season. “Today, we are at 30 per cent, it depends a lot on the lads.”
Juric couldn’t reveal his line-up for the match against Juventus but praised new signing Kevin Lasagna, who arrived from Udinese in January.
“I haven’t decided the line-up yet, some players have given a lot in recent months and are starting to fade, it’s normal,” he said.
“It’s not easy to insert new players, however I have some doubts and I will decide calmly. Kevin is top, when I see a player like this, I’m happy.”
