The Gialloblu have already secured Serie A survival and managed a 1-1 draw against Torino on Sunday.

However, Juric harshly criticised his own club in a post-match interview.

“We have achieved incredible results over the last two seasons. The fact that nobody from the club comes to discuss [the future] with me, with three games remaining, is a bad sign, is a total lack of respect,” the coach told DAZN.

“In football, when you reach a target in advance, you can discuss something. We work with love, we plan the future, we don’t just go to the pitch for training sessions.

“We think about how to develop young players and many other things. It brings me down not to see the same enthusiasm and the same attachment. It doesn’t seem the right thing to do,” he continued.

“We’ll see what happens in the future. I have a contract, I am an employee. We gained survival in Cagliari, against a team that spends eight times more than us.

“I expected something more, I expected more recognition. You can get along or not, but honesty comes first. It’s disappointing to be treated like this when you give so much enthusiasm and passion.

“Torino and Cagliari are on a different level, you can’t even discuss with the players they are signing.

“Despite that, we dominated the game today, it would have been crazy to lose it. You can see the work of the last couple of seasons in today’s game.

“We created so much against Inter, Spezia and Fiorentina too, and I don’t know how we couldn’t win those games. However, I must say sometimes we were lucky too.

“You can see many positive aspects in these games. The lads want to finish in the top ten.”
