Juric then discussed Simeone, expressing his belief that the Argentine still has much room for improvement but calling for an end to comparisons with father Diego.

“Simeone is a good player in the area, but with a lot of room for improvement out of it. He runs a lot and we are happy with him.

“However, I would prefer it if people talked more about him and not his father. I don’t think it is an easy comparison for the boy.”

Finally, the Coach revealed why he was sent to the stands during the match at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

“I was sent off because I was gesticulating a lot, without being offensive. I need to be careful, even though this is the way I am during the match.”
