Verona signed Inter full-back Dimarco and Fiorentina midfielder Valentin Eysseric before the close of the transfer window, so will they be used against the Rossoneri?
“It’s not easy to be put straight into the mechanisms of our team immediately. Dimarco comes from Inter and had been doing well because Conte works hard,” said Juric in a press conference.
Eysseric received little playing time at Fiorentina, but Juric says the Gialloblu have been missing a midfielder like him.
“We had some shortcomings in the middle of the pitch due to the fact that Danzi, who has ankle problems, will have to undergo surgery.
“Eysseric is more of an attacking midfielder, to be a complete midfielder he has to improve in the defensive phase to be a midfielder.”
Verona have exceeded expectations this season in Serie A, and Juric says the fans should enjoy the moment.
“Yes we have to keep our feet on the ground, but it doesn’t have to be like that, it’s a positive period for us.
“We have got a lot of points on the board, but now there are three games in six days, we have to think of only that.
“In moments like this we have to push hard, and not to become satisfied.”
Juric has won many plaudits this season for Verona’s success.
“We coaches depend on results. A person may like it or not, but it always comes down to results.
“It’s a variable, not a certainty, it depends on the performance of the team. Right now the team are doing very well, and there’s a great feeling, but that can change if results don’t go well.”
The Gialloblu have never won at San Siro, and Juric states they’ll give it their all.
“As usual, we will try to do our best, to play the game openly. It’s a completely different Milan from a month ago, we can see Stefano Piolo’s work.
“They prepare for matches well, it’ll be very tough, but we’ll try.”
