Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric is unhappy with Davide Faraoni’s disallowed goal: ‘I can't believe they didn't give that.'

Inter managed a crucial 1-0 win over Verona, but Juric’s side could have levelled the game with Faraoni who had the ball in the net, but it was disallowed for an apparent push on the goalkeeper.

“I hadn’t seen it on the pitch, I saw it later, I can't believe they didn't give that,” Juric told DAZN.

“We played well today, but that’s how football is. We created a lot and didn’t suffer much, I congratulate my lads, we are sorry for the goal disallowed to Faraoni,” he continued.

“We’ll try to be on the same level in the next five games to improve our position in the table,” he added.

“Lasagna played in open spaces for the entire game, its not enough. It’s not that he doesn’t have technique. He must attack crosses more.

“Maybe he was never demanded to do so. He can improve so much. There is no pressure here at Verona, why was he so depressed?”

Why hasn’t Andrea Favilli played as much?

“It was an opportunity we had in the market and he scored some goals too. He’s been unlucky with injuries. I hope he can find the ideal balance.”
