Torino coach Ivan Juric stressed Andrea Belotti will stay beyond January amid rumours of a possible move to Milan. ‘We’ll see at the end of the season’.

The Granata travel to San Siro to play Milan on Tuesday and reports in Italy suggested the two parties will sit down to discuss the future of Tommaso Pobega and Belotti.

Pobega-Belotti swap deal in January?

The Italy international has yet to sign a new deal with the Granata and his future seems to be elsewhere, but Juric claimed he will not be going anywhere in January.

“He won’t leave in January,” Juric said at a press conference. “We’ll see at the end of the season.”

Belotti’s contract expires in June 2022 and has been targeted by the Italian giants, as he has decided against signing a new contract with Urbano Cairo’s team.

But Juric wants to get the most out of the Torino captain until next summer.

“It’s useless to speculate,” he said. “Nothing will happen. I hope he has a great season, then we will look into each other’s eyes, and he will decide his future.

“There will be no approaches, I hope he has a good year and then we’ll see.”

Belotti has struggled with an injury at the start of the campaign but is back in action and has contributed one goal in four Serie A games.

He should be in contention for a place in the starting line-up at San Siro on Tuesday.
