Juan Jesus assured the Inter squad are still on Walter Mazzarri’s side following their 1-1 Europa League draw with Saint-Etienne.
The Nerazzurri’s progression from Group F remains in the balance, as they were forced to settle for a point at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Thursday.
However, in light of mounting pressure facing their boss, the defender insisted the 53-year-old retains the full support of the Inter dressing room.
“We knew that with their fans, it would not be easy. We made some mistakes that allowed them to get back into the match, though the first half was rather positive,” Juan Jesus told Mediaset Premium.
“We played with great desire. It’s important that we play well against Hellas Verona, with this determination and desire. We’re with Mazzarri, he's our Coach.”
Teenage pair Federico Bonazzoli and Andrea Palazzi were in action against the Ligue 1 oufit, with the former starting the match, and Juan Jesus believes they are both destined for a bright future.
“Bonazzoli and Palazzi gave a good account of themselves. We must give them peace of mind because they have the quality,” he added.
