The Brazilian was a constant presence in the Nerazzurri backline last term, playing in 44 games in all competitions.
But the 22-year-old has insisted that he still has a lot of improving to do, and believes that competition for places can help that.

But the 22-year-old has insisted that he still has a lot of improving to do, and believes that competition for places can help that.
“I always try to do my best,” he told Inter Channel. “I am learning to try and know more and more about Italian football.
“The more time passes though, the more you improve.
“When you join a new team it always takes a while to adapt, but now I feel more at ease.
“Competiton for places is a good thing.
“We have some quality players, and in every workout we have to prove our worth to the Coach.
“Mazzarri is teaching us a lot and we are doing well.”
