Roma are close to selling defender Juan Jesus to Fiorentina, whilst they plan to move Federico Fazio on in June.

The Brazilian defender has lost his place at the heart of the defence, with Chris Smalling superseding Jesus to partner Gianluca Mancini.

The Viola will take the 30-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy for €4m in June.

The Giallorossi are in the midst of revolutionising their back line. Roger Ibanez will join from Atalanta, on an 18-month loan with mandatory obligation to buy for €8m.

La Gazzetta dello Sport states that in the summer, Roma are looking to sell Fazio, with the 32-year-old also losing his place in the starting XI under coach Paulo Fonseca.

Mert Cetin may be shipped out on loan this month to Verona, with the 23-year-old Turkish defender barely playing for the Giallorossi this season.

Roma have also been in talks with Manchester United over buying Smalling permanently, but issues have arisen over the price tag.
