“I know him, he's a great player,” the Inter defender told Sport Mediaset. “He always gets into the box and scores a lot of goals.
“It'd be great for us if he does join Inter.”
Reports in Italy are suggesting that the Nerazzurri could make a concrete bid should they sell Liverpool-target Philippe Coutinho at some stage over the next week.
“I'd be sad if Coutinho left, but he needs to do what's right for him,” added the young Brazilian. “However it goes, whether he leaves or not, it won't change our friendship.”
