Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic will reportedly undergo his medical with Fiorentina next week.

The Serbia international is set to move to the Stadio Franchi on loan from the Merengues. According to Il Corriere dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs have reached an agreement over a dry loan move for the 24-year-old.

This means that Fiorentina won’t have an option to make the striker’s move permanent next season.

Real Madrid boss Ancelotti stalls Jovic transfer to Fiorentina

Fiorentina and Real Madrid will reportedly split the player’s salary, paying 50% each.

There were rumours that Carlo Ancelotti had vetoed Jovic’s move to Fiorentina, waiting for Real Madrid to sign another centre-forward, but there are now growing reports that the deal is done and that Jovic will be in Florence next week.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the striker will undergo his medical with the Tuscans between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fiorentina replaced Dusan Vlahovic with Arthur Cabral and Krzysztof Piatek in January. The Brazilian striker moved to Tuscany on a permanent deal from Base, while the ex-Genoa and Milan striker has returned to Herta Berlin after a six-month loan with La Viola.
