BILD reports Jovic rejected the chance to move to Milan as he feared he would not get regular game time and play ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede missed one month and a half of action with a muscle injury, but earlier this week he netted a brace in the first Serie A game he started since November 22.

The 39-year-old has 13 goals in just as many appearances with the Diavoli so far this season.

Milan eventually signed former Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic to back-up the Swede.
