Luka Jovic admits he misses his former teammate Ante Rebic at Eintracht Frankfurt: ‘We shared wonderful moments.’

The Serbian striker returned to his former club on loan from Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

The Bundesliga side reached the Europa League semi-final in 2019 when both him Sebastien Haller and Ante Rebic, who is now at Milan, were part of the team.

“Of course I miss them, we shared wonderful moments, achieving something historical for this club,” the 23-year-old told Bild.

Jovic had been linked with a move to Milan in January, but reportedly rejected the opportunity to move to the San Siro amid fears of lack of playing time.

“I really missed the Bundesliga, I am happy to be back," the striker expalined.

"I had played slightly more than 100 minutes and I am working to get my fitness back. I am ready for the upcoming challenges.”
