The Nerazzurri’s 1-0 win in the Derby della Madonnina last weekend was their third consecutive league win and led to talk of a possible Scudetto challenge.
However, the Montenegrin striker believes that a return to Champions League football is still top of their agenda.
“We expected a positive start, maybe not this good but it's nice to be top of the league and we want to stay there for as long as possible,” he said to Inter’s official website.
“It’s just the beginning and we have to improve a lot more.
“We have already put the victory against Milan behind us and have been working in preparation for the trip to Verona for three days.
“The main objective is third place.
“Scudetto? For now it’s better not say, later we will see.”
