“I am happy, as we played a great game, had scoring opportunities, kept the ball and did everything we worked on in training,” Jo-Jo told Inter Channel.

“We can continue to improve over the next two weeks. We worked very hard at the Riscone camp, with two training sessions per day, so you could tell we were sharper now.
“I thank the fans, as it was so hot and while others were at the seaside they came to Parma in order to cheer us on. I thank them for their support.”
There were question marks over how Jovetic would fit into the team tactics, but he is confident the rapport with Icardi will work.
“In my view, those who know how to play football will always find each other.”
