However, medical coordinator Piero Volpi calmed any worries about the striker’s condition after he scored three goals in his first two league appearances for the Nerazzurri.

“I see Jovetic doing very well physically,” he told FcInterNews.
“He was immediately put at our disposal and arrived having already trained well in pre-season with Manchester City.
“From all of our observations – the data collected and all the tests we have done – he hasn’t presented any of the problems that were so rumoured in the football world.
“I have to say that we are very satisfied for now.”
