According to Tuttosport newspaper, agents of Italy international Jorginho are in talks over a new contract at Arsenal, but they remain in contact with Serie A clubs as a return to the Peninsula is still on the cards.
Jorginho’s Arsenal contract runs out this coming June and the Gunners have an option to extend his stay for one more season.
However, according to Saturday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper on page nine, representatives of the ex-Napoli and Hellas Verona midfielder are in talks with the Premier League giants over a new deal.
According to the report, the player’s agents are working on multiple tables as they remain in contact with Serie A clubs as well, including Juventus.
Although extending with Arsenal appears to be Jorginho’s priority, a return to Italy remains an option for the experienced Regista, who has become a regular starter under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal in the second part of the season.
